They been able to create new sound before without any Kanye West or Will I am
Meanwhile Im gonna hold on to the fact that its just a funny joke, tryin to stir things up a bit

Yep. Without Kanye or Will -- but with Flood and Howie B. Different guys, same concept.

Btw. the presence of Will would not mean a Hip Hop album.

Well I prefer Lanois and Eno over them anyway
Pop wasnt an fave album of mine, still their were a few quite good songs on their
Well, Will do hip hop dosent he?
I could see him bringin in HIS ideas on things
Im not saying he dosent know he´s beats, but stay away from the rock music
  3. i think if he's working on remixes, which is my guess...it's not a big deal....i highly doubt they're bringing in new people to really work on songs at this stage in the game

  4. He does. That doesn't mean that under his influence U2 turn into Hip Hop artists. Eno does ambient stuff - did U2 do an ambient album?
Getting someone from the hip hop camp into the boat could mean anything. From new approaches in songwriting to using samples like Coldplay did on X&Y, etc.
But it certainly doesn't mean that you'll see bling bling, girls and cars in the next video.

Any artist who uses samples instantly goes up 25 points on my shit list.

I hope not, I wouldnt want U2 to go near anythin like Coldplay
I cant quite see that no, but I still think theirs no need to bring in any from the hip hop camp
Thats why I listen to rock, let the pieces of rock that is still left be where it is
Hip Hop is taking up such enough space as it is, without it goin into the rock scene
I do see your point as well, but this is just my personal view on it

  7. technically U2 has used sampling before on Pop and Zooropa.....but i get what you're saying. and I think Yeah is right on this one, no real cause for concern until we actually know what is up, but im not too worried about getting a U2 hip hop album

I agree with you. I'll wait to hear the new songs to judge if it really is "dope as shit." Which I'd love to hear come out of the mouth of Brian Eno.

I'd pay a large sum of money to see this once. Only once.
  9. Ill stick to my opinion, even if im gonna end up bein the only one on this forum! lol
