1. Afterall, it's U2. They wont turn to hip-hop..come on. Looking at music from a different perspective is just good.

I could see Bono wanting to tap into the hip hop scene. No idea why but just for some reason

Im not saying U2 will turn into hip hop, Im just doubtful Will I am would produce a good tune for them or whatever
Even to say, that Im not worried cause it might not even be true, it might be true
And if so, we dont know what his doin in it would be
But I gladly will be proven wrong, if thats the case
It seems I turned into miss not so popular after sayin that on here lol
Maybe Im just very conservative haha
I dont really think its about being right or wrong either
    People want different things

I just expressed my opinion mate. No harm to you.

Maybe Bono will do some solo-hiphop-stuff sometime...rapping with Snoop (Snoop once said he would love to work with Bono), mixing with Wil.I.Am...one thing, I won't buy it.

Oh thats ok, I wasnt aiming at anyone either lol
    Make that two
However I can also see a bit of what Gerard were saying, but Bono is not the entire U2
And they make their decisions together
  6. I'm not worried at all...I'm sure they won't do anything even close to hip-hop but they were always all about new colors, new feelings, new sounds...

So don't judge before you hear.

  7. I might get a taste of it trough unofficial ways first...
  8. Kanye's a doucher anyways....
  9. in one of the early early interviews, back in 06 i think, Bono did mention that they were looking at hip-hop. more about the production i guess, idk....i think atu2 has the quote in their new album section and it might be on the timeline
  10. Will.I.Am is producing? To me this says they're working on remixes now. I'm reminded of Coldplay and Jay Z with Lost+.

I think U2 went looking for new sounds by tapping into popular muisc of this generation. Here's a thought: U2 described the album as having Mitch Mitchell type drumming. Hip hop uses a drum machine to create beats. Therefore, the album will not be a hip hop record. And yeah is right at every level as well.

SECTION WILL BE ADDED UPON BECAUSE I HAVE A REALLY GOOD IDEA THAT NEEDS TO BE PUT INTO WORDS

remixes make the most sense....and on this rare occasion I do agree with Yeah
