It fell short of the mark for me. The first two times I saw it in the cinema I was blown away but. Bought and watched the blu ray on monday and it was nowhere near as good. Batman begins is holding up better after multiple watches. Plus the blu ray transfer wasn't great.

I don't totally disagree. The prison transfer sequence was made for the big screen. And knowing the big surprise of the third act lessened its impact, but it is so much better than 95% of the big blockbusters of the past few years.
