Prove me if i am wrong, but the Verve didn't get the permissions. But of course that's because Allen Klein is a jackass. And this is in the mind of every Rolling Stones fan too.

    2 shows? Lucky!

for me as a fan of The Verve is in my mind that the band didn't make any money from something they were allowed to do

If they get the permission there's no too much or something like that. Stones didn't say how much they can use it. The Verve were allowed to do it so they used it.

What I meant about including the Rolling Stones was that they too got ripped off by Allen Klein. When you buy a 60s song from the Rolling Stones (including Brown Sugar and Wild Horses) you aren't giving them money, but to Allen Klein. I'm sure Mick Jagger would let people sample work by the Stones, he's into the new music anyway.

  4. As long as he's getting a piece of the pie.....
  5. Just bought Prospekt's March, loving Life in Technicolour ii

  6. Is it really worth the money? I've also thought about getting the Prospekt's March edition of Viva...

  7. do you not have the regular version of Viva yet? I think P.M. is selling on iTunes for like 6 bucks. It's iTunes, but that's well worth the cost.

yes, I have the regular version of Viva. But I like the packaging. There, I admit it. I'm stupid enough to buy something for the packaging

I saw the regular version of P.M. in Best Buy for about $9.95, so it's definitely not worth the extra $3.95 just for packaging. I'll go with iTunes...

I've been trying to send you a PM for the last 5 minutes, but it's not working. Anyways, I can "steer you in the right direction" if packaging isn't important to you....
