1. something like 22 nights at the O2 in London. If U2 did a similar residency the piggy bank would be ducking for cover

Aah. Yes. That would be a little bit of a financial stretch. Consider me present at least one night though....

  3. I shall see you there. Temple Bar beforehand?

  4. On Tuesday 16 December, John Kelly will be joined by Carrie Crowley, Richard Delevan and Declan Hughes to review two documentaries, 'Patti Smith: Dream of Life' and 'Gonzo: Hunter S. Thompson', a new novel by Michel Faber, 'The Fire Gospel' and the exhibition, Arts of the Book at the Chester Beatty Library. The show will also feature Bono and Edge of U2 taking a tour of the new O2 Arena and talking about U2's long association with the venue in its previous incarnation, The Point Depot.

Should be streamed worldwide for those outside of the small islands.

  5. It's on right now on the site, for anyone who's around!
  6. Performance still to come later. They just chatted about the old Point and the new O2.
  7. They are on first. God the place looks good.

    There's a bit of Desire.

And there's a teeny bit of New Years Eve footage (Streets).

I have to go see any gig there.

Van Diemens Land will be shown at the end
