try making a fake setlist is my approach

Zoo Station (off the Window In The Skies single)
Vertigo (2005 Live from Milan) #2
    Elevation (Slane Castle)
    Mysterious Ways (ZOO TV Stockholm)
Gloria (Live from Hammersmith Palais or Red Rocks)
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For (Rattle and Hum version)
Beautiful Day (Slane Castle or Chicago)
New Year's Day (Chicago or Red Rocks)
    Sunday Bloody Sunday (red rocks)
Bullet the Blue Sky (Chicago or Slane or Rattle and Hum)
    Bad (Live from anywhere!)
Where the Streets Have No Name (any version)
Pride (In the Name of Love) (the one of rattle and hum sounds good)
The Fly (Live from Buenos Aires or Chicago or Sao Paolo)
With or Without You (Live from Slane Castle or any version that fits to end the first encore)
Miss Sarajevo (2005 Live from Milan)

here are some suggestions... its really hard to try and make u2 songs fit into a CD.

    Bad live from anywhere, agreeeeed

  2. Yeah, the end of Sydney is better, but I like the begin where Bono 'screams' to the audience and the very long and hard 'looooooove' in the middle part
On the other side: Sydney would fit better since there's a dude on the screen talking on the Stockholm one...
  3. Lol yea i just love the part in stockholm where the girl on the screen screams "I LOVE YOU BONO!" and bono's like "I LOVE YOU TO BABE! MYSTERIOUS WAYS SHE MOVES YEA!" thats y i always liked that transition on my playist between Elevation and Mysterious Ways deliciously good.

Without sounding stupid, i dont know the difference between those 3 things uve mentioned, is there a major difference? Ofcourse the best quality songs would be great but somtimes its hard to get eg Discotechque live from Chicago 20-09-2005.

Yea there all the same quality so i was wondering if we like make an album from all those sources with perfect sound or can we include like you said a great performance but not so great quality?
  6. Are any Rattle and Hum songs considered classic??? I don't think so.. but you should include some like all i want is you or desire (acoustic)

100% need a Desire and AIWIY from rattle and hum but it dunt have to be from the 80's tours. the quality issue im still not sure about, when i blast this cd at home or in the car i dunt want it to sound like crap, but then i dunt want to leave that discotechque i mentioned out, its too good not to make it, but the discotecque from mexico city in 1997 is still pretty good but much better quality, so i duno. Anyway thnks for peoples suggestions so far, keep em coming, its a big help. (even if quality is sketchy, but ofcourse great quality is preffered)
  8. The ZOO TV versions from sydney, stockholm and dublin are all so good, and therefore hard to seperate, any tips??
  9. I still have the hope U2 will release kind of a live box set, like hte live box of Bruce Springsteen released in the mid-80's.

There should be a lot of recordings available, like the rcordings for the film Rattle& Hum and the soundtracks for the DVD of the 90's en 00's

They also could use some good radio recordings.

I would really like some parts on it of the show of 20 december 1987. like One tree hill and the wonderful version of Mothers of de disappeared.

What a nice idea could be is a cd with 80's recordings, a cd with nineties en a cd with recordings of the last two tours.
