question if anyone what so ever knows .....soundcheck of Red hill in Tennesse 87 one & only time they did it knowing if it actually exists that is

No known recording in existence but it happened, or so we believe.

I actually remember years ago reading somewhere SOMEONE actually does have the recording but in not great quality. Whether it will ever see the light of day remains to be seen!!!!

Anything is possible, but I doubt there is an audience version of this out there. The only recording that I have ever heard of is from the soundboard. Whether that is in the hands of any fans or non U2 personnel I doubt it (but certainly possible). The soundcheck did happen and it was recorded. There was also an article about it back on the Joshua Tree tour that talked about when they soundchecked Red Hill in Murfreesboro and why they decided not to play it live. I think it was from Hot Press, but I don't remember for sure.
