I still wonder if it might not be a bit early tough, but who knows?

I reckon in the next two or three weeks. It's obviously gonna some real coverage in February.

I wonder if this is anything - May 2009:

  2. I hope he won't be singing 'sexy boots', that was the worst chorus they did in a long time.

  3. I can live without that as well yes lol
However, the way they described the song in Q magazine
Isnt really doin it for me, thank god theirs an album to come as well
EDIT: However we dunno if it might been redone, or whatever
Beach Clips were some months ago
If it turns out I dont like the song when its out, the whole thing
Then I hope the video is at least good lol

When do they usually start to tour after an album release?
If its a tour your thinkin about

Bomb was released November, I think, a few promo shows here and there for CD:UK and BBC, and the tour kicked off March 2005. I'm thinking those TBC tours. Surely U2 wouldn't skip Croke Park. The first video has to top Vertigo - what an amazing video, so it's gonna be something interesting.

i rekon all beach clips have been redone in the nearly 5 months since they were 1st posted. otherwise their record company would have taken them off the net.

You'd hope. Songs come in at the last minute - Zoo Station only came in three days in finished form on Achtung Baby, Last Night On Earth was still at the mixing desk on the last day of Pop and ''40'' was recorded a few hours before sending War off to be pressed.

They have six versions of No Line, right? Single version, radio edit, album version, demo version, A capella, instrumental? I'd say so.

Okey doke guys, I'm off for the night, but it's been an awesome chat with you all!
  7. Pure conjecture on my part, but CBS was constantly running promos for the Grammys during this weekend's football games. I believe the date is Feb 6. May not be a bad place to break out the new single. They showed an old picture of U2 performing at the ceremony a few years back, but did not promote them being there in any way.

And by not saying it doesn't sound particularly impressive, I meant GYBO literally doesn't sound as good as Vertigo (at least in current form), I wasn't judging by its title (though it does make a bad acronym).

I would be shocked if the single comes out so early, how much did Vertigo predate the album by?

What current form? What are you talking about? Beach clips? C'mon, we heard them, what 4-5 months ago? No offense, but they're not relevant at all at this moment, we all know that U2 changes their tunes in last few weeks of recording. They were even completely changing NLOTH in front of Q journalist. And that was not more than a month ago.

Well, the beach clips have been taken off the net (youtube, public torrent trackers), but you just can't control the whole net with 50 000 one click hosters like rapidshare....

And we all know that one half of the album has been finished at least months ago... so the beach clips may still be relevant.

But how about stopping to read tea leaves, lean back, wait 6 weeks and enjoy all the other great stuff in the musical world?
