1. Oh come on guys, these song descriptions shouldn't be taken too serious.
Remember the "country-hip hop" of If god will send his angels or the "Al Green whisper-groove" of In a little while or the "Passengers style" of One Step Closer from earlier pre-release song descriptions?

In retrospect, those descriptions sound pretty acurate to me....

You're right. I always wondered how the hell they ended up with the country hip hop lol. Anyways, weren't those descriptions all of Bono's origin ? I actually only mistrust a description when Bono says it.

Country hip hop was Edge One of my favourites still is Marvin Gaye and The Clash meeting on A man and a woman, though.

And just to stir some shit up:
That rich songwriting vein has produced some true diamonds: I know I'll go crazy- If I don't go crazy tonight --Stand up to rock stars/Napoleon is in high heels/Be careful of small men with big ideas

Country Hip-Hop sort of summed up "If God Will Send His Angels". But "A Man And A Woman" was hardly "Marvin Gaye meets The Clash".

"A Man And A Woman" is not a horrible song but "...Atomic Bomb" would have been stronger with a bit more of the raw energy and punk influence that the band talked about before that albums release.

    Hahaha

I think there's only one way by judging these comments on the songs...hearing them ourselves..
  7. The UK-release will have a bonus track.

  8. ZOMG Mercy!!!111!!!

That's good news. Hopefully it'll be available elsewhere, a la Fast Cars on the deluxe editions of Bomb, or in the box set.
EDIT: Casper beat me to it.
