I was simply saying that the chorus was poor (especially for a lead single),the fact that the RS article confirmed that they hadn't changed the chorus lyrics at all, doesn't help.

Was I pointing it at you then? I just stated something....(the mention of the song being 3 minutes and the longer beach clip)

    Finally, someone said it!!

A lot of the general public thought Pop was a terrible album - I love it, as for Passengers too. So yeah has a point. I like October, a lot of people don't. So he's right - yet again.

I'm sure there's an anti-U2 forum you can log onto somewhere.

Blunt but precise, and something I thoroughly agree with lol.

    Me too.

    Well said.

Seriously, if you don't stop banging on about these bloody clips, I will close this topic.

Well said. That's my thought too, there's no one who listens to an album just because the general public likes or dislikes it, you listen to an album because you like it.
  7. A subsite of the Dutch U2 fanclub claimed that the tracklist of the new album was known by the way, but they have included Mercy and North Star, and not Get On Your Boots. You can pre-order the album there too.

Well, if they can deliver me an album with Mercy and North Star, I'll be happy to order it A bit weird to put that on your site.

Why would six songs from the last sessions be on there would be my question. This is the one I've been seeing for a while.

    The Cedars of Lebanon
    Moment of Surrender
    For Your Love
    One Bird
    No Line On The Horizon
    It's Six O'Clock
If I Could Live My Life Again
Love Is All We Have Left
    North Star
    Mercy
Lead Me In The Way I Should Go
You Can't Give Away Your Heart

I wanna hear North Star, so I hope they're right

@ Drew: that looks like a really old list

  10. Ask Michael W Smith about North Star.

It is. The Six O'Clock one comes from a Sundance interview, six are HTDAAB songs, and we know where the rest came from. It'd probably make a nice album.

Yeah, I might give him a call

Would love to see those as B-sides
