That is a rather interesting story lol...
  3. I really liked the story. Welcome to the site!
  4. Welcome to heaven Enjoy yourself here!
  5. Thanks a lot for the overwhelmingly warm welcome!

Regarding PopMart I want to explain myself. I think that the show as such wasn't the reason why it was a disappointment. It was crowded in a bad way where I ended up, even though I moved further and further back. This fact obviously made it difficult to move around, so there was not much to do about:

*the tall people in front of me
*the crap sound (due to destructive interference, I assume)
*the drunk people beside me who were screaming their hearts out, out of pitch

Also, I was very much into another band at the time. So, that explains a lot, I hope. It was like watching a movie when you're in the wrong mood.

    And, yes Risto -- indeed!

I hope to see you around!

^^ wrong CD ? Do you have a introduction story with that ?

  7. Welcome to the site, nice to have you around

  8. Thanks for the introduction, my dear twin sister! Your story includes me, obviously, since we share it.

I think I even remember the date for the second time we saw Sunday on MTV (live from Red Rocks, of course): May 25, 1993. And I remember that more or less precisely a week later, a school mate came over with the tapes that her older sister had made for us, of Achtung Baby, The Joshua Tree, War and possibly some other albums too. From that day, we listened only to U2 for three years... Ah, those were the times!

I don't intend to steal this thread from you, but I'm a bit unsure of whether I should introduce myself in a separate thread or not, when you've said it all already. But one thing I know for sure: I love the atmosphere on this forum! I'm so glad to be here, together with my twin sister.
