1. Hi there,

    The Independent

I know the most of you don't know Dutch so here's the small content :

Bono is going to be a columnist (don't know if that's correct so i'd better use the word writer)
for the New York Times. Tomorrow his first piece will be released.

Bono calls it an honour and he'll write about very different topics.
The chef of the NY TImes says Bono is an extraordinary man.

Bono already had some experience with The Independent.
  2. Looking very very forward to the podcast!
  3. Frank Sinatra, New year, change of songs.
  4. cannot understand what's so about Bono writing about one of his fave musicians ?
To be honest, I found this read better than his 'usual' (sorry, Bono!) Africa preaching . A nice change sorta.

I really enjoyed listening to him reading it!

  5. Well, I don't care about how 'My Way' changed, what piece of art Bono received from Sinatra,... Just a personal thing. I guess. He could have come just straight to the point.
  6. I liked it....something I havent expect from him but I'm definately looking foreward to the next podcast. Is there anyway to download it? Think it will be a (all his podcasts) nice collection in the end.
  7. I loved it! And I especially loved listening to Bono reading it!

I wish he'd write every Sunday, but that's of course just wishful thinking. I agree with the previous poster who said that it was not quite what he/she expected. I suppose I expected something else, more about make poverty history, the ONE Campaign and that sort of stuff. I wouldn't have minded, but I liked this even better, because it felt so personal. I felt like Bono let me inside his head as a private person, if you know what I mean.

Er, I wish I could explain it better. Well, I loved it anyway, and I'm looking forward to what will come next!
  8. Oh I enjoyed his column.... does anybody know where to find the podcast?
