1. ^^ Jesus, that is freaking big

Anyway, I should be getting a 2nd generation iPod Touch in a few weeks...... I have a 1st gen now. I personally like the Apple headphones, but lately, I've been finding that they aren't loud enough anymore. I've been looking around the stores, but I figured that before I buy anything, I should come here first! I;m not looking for anything too fancy or anything, just a bit louder than the Apple ones. I've had my eyes on these Altec headphones for a few days. What do you guys use?

    Thank you!
  2. Senheiser CX300's. Can't go wrong Nick

  3. These are exactly what I'm looking for. And, only $23 on Amazon, sweet. They look a lot better than the Altecs that I mentioned in my last post too.

    Very much appreciated Gerard!

When you get them do try all three sizes of rubber cap. Once you get the right fit you'l be blocking out 99% of unwanted noise and getting some excellent bass. Great headphone.

Inline volume control would be a nice addition though

Perhaps in some later versions. I believe the CX400 is out too, dunno about a possible inline volume control on that one.

I have the CX500's and they have online volume control but I do prefer the sound of the 300's

  7. Seems I missed one..lol. Why do you prefer the 300 then? I assume you paid more for these CX500? Although the price doesn't say anything about the quality though...
  8. Can anyone tell me what the best program would be to record online radio/streams?
  9. iPod problems again...
Guys, I have this iPod nano 3G, it worked fine before, but I haven't used it for some time, almost 5 months...now when I connect it, iTunes does open up automatically, but it does not recognize any connected device. I do not have the iPod software installed to restore the ipod from there, and haven't been able to find the software on Apple's site...I found this place:
    http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/

which has the firmwares for download, but it's .ipsw file apparently opened by iTunes (has an itunes icon), I'm dowonloading it right now (58mb takes some time on 128kbps, 1hour to go), but am not sure about it, because iTunes does not recognize the iPod, if it opens a new firmware installation file, where the hell is it gonna install it?!

    Any help?
  10. I'd say on the iPod it installs. Pretty much all you do is double-click that .ipsw file, iTunes verifies the .ipsw, extracts the .com files inside and then starts installing the operating system for you. Make sure it is for the 3G nano you got from the website - I get all my firmwares from that site.

You could try holding the Menu and Centre button together until the iPod restarts. When that happens and you see the Apple logo, immediately hold the Fast Forward and Rewind buttons and choose Manual > Disk Mode. You might have to play around with it for a good few times to force it into that.

Either that or plug it in, leave it alone for a good 12 hours and see what happens. Usually the battery after five months does run out. If you can't get it to do anything, can you get Apple to do something with it?
