  1. At officeworks, selling pc's,printers, etc. its been great so far, hell busy cause of 'back to school' period. and i gota work monday so i wont hear GOYB till monday night. FFS

    Great stuff. I haven't been to Officeworks for ages, but there's some great cheap stuff down there. I usually check out places like Jaycar, IT Warehouse etc...all the nerdy stores and little gadgets and electronics stuff. You can never have enough little gadgets.

  5. 2006-11-16 - Adelaide, Australia - AAMI Stadium

    Performance:
    Ok then, This review is going to be short and probably not so sweet. I can't really fault the performance of the band, It was a fairly laid back show, like the rest of the 5th leg shows, and both the band and the crowd seems to be into it on this night. Performance like Stuck in a Moment, Angel Of Harlem and Miss Sarajevo really stuck out, while the other performance did the job, not the best but far from the worst, well that was until the last 3 songs. The Saint are Coming was only matched in direness by Desire, and it was left with Kite to restore the shows previous charm.

    Audience:
    I guess i better watch my mouth ;-). The Crowd were into it, and its always nice to hear people enjoying themselves with all the big sing-alongs

    Sound:
    Hummm, Not sure I really enjoyed the sound of this bootleg, Perhaps a 3 star, but i've heard better. The Band were auble in all parts along with the crowd, who were prehaps to aubable, but hey, its and 'Audience' recording, what do you expect.

    Overall:
    Highlights
    - Miss Sarajevo
    - Angel Of Harlem
    - Stuck In a Moment

    Lowlights
    - Desire
    - The Saints are Coming

  7. An overall opion is that i didn't really enjoy the show, maybe its the sound through ipod headphones that didn't really do it justice, or my passionate hate for the 2 of the last 3 songs, i just found it a hard gig to actually get through.

    Performance:
    The band seemed relaxed and enjoying themselves, and the snippets were excellent in their songs, but they really shouldn't play the Saints are Coming without Green Day, it just seems to lack without them. Kite sounded great though, I wish they'd played it more on the Vertigo tour. People can bitch about ATYCLB all they want, but that song is great, especially live, like here. Bullet and Bloody Sunday just sounded tired, they should give those two numbers a rest for a bit. Pride sounded good though, Elevation was just okay, and Desire had some nice little improv bit thing in it. (Does that make sense lol?)

    Audience:
    Sure, it was a little annoying to put up with some of their crappy singing, but I did feel like I was there, and I like to hear the audience. Besides, I can't sing either.

    It was okay, it didn't skip, and I could hear the band fine. But it wasn't the most amazing thing since chocolate or anything.

    Overall:
    Just an okay boot, Kite is great, but not much else seems to stand out. I probably won't keep it on my iPod. I give it a 3 out of 5
