This kind-of slipped under the radar etc what with the premiere of GOYB, but I just saw the two songs U2 played at the "We are One" concert - Pride & COBL.
Whew - what versions. You could really tell Bono was dealing with the ghosts of MLK singing Pride - especially during the reference to the assasination, and COBL really fitted the event as well with its theme of beauty and hope.
Oh - almost forgot to add as well - I'm loving Larry's drums. The silver-effect is cool, and it looks like the Yamaha logo is back on the bass drum as well - even better than the real thing!!
