1. Hey y'all...for one of my classes at school we've been asked to bring in 3-4 minutes of our favorite "media." Naturally I thought of a U2 video. But I don't know what to pick: Elevation or Streets from Slane, Zoo Station or the Fly from ZOO TV Sydney, Sunday Bloody Sunday from Red Rocks, Discotheque from POPMART Mexico City...you get the picture.

Basically, I want my teacher and classmates to drop their jaws in awe of U2. Your recommendations for the most compelling 3 to 4 minutes of U2 footage?
  2. Oh thats hard. Elevation live from Milan? too long. Miss Sarajevo would be great but its too long. Electric Co. from Chicago would be good! The Fly from Sao Paolo with the Jean Genie snippet? U2 is not an easy choice for this because there songs are too long.. -_-
  3. I'd go for Elevation from Slane or Streets from ZooTV (I'd say all of it from RTSS but you only have 4 minutes lol..)
  4. Any Mofo Proshot/ Daddy's gonna pay for your crashed car will do the job.
  5. Wake Up Dead Man from Slane?
  6. I would say Sunday Bloody Sunday from Red Rocks, though thats probably too long, With or Without You from Rattle and Hum maybe, or One from Zoo TV/PopMart
  7. Streets from Zoo TV would blow me away on a cinema screen. But you probably don't have access to one lol. Exit from Rattle & Hum is damn fine too. Tough subject. i'll have a think and post back later.
  8. How about the Fly from Boston???? or Bullet the Blue Sky from Boston??? those could work if only you could negotiate with your teacher about the time.
  9. R&H Streets
  10. Zoo TV The Fly
  11. If time's an issue - which it obviously is - and you can't play all of it, what about Edge's solo from Bullet The Blue Sky, Dublin 93? Always does it for me. That or Lemon from Sydney.
  12. Great stuff guys! Thanks so much for your help. I've got basically until my class tomorrow morning to decide. I'll bring a bunch of DVDs with and make a game time decision.

And as for time, it doesn't have to fit the 3-4 minutes. I think if I just get a good chunk of a performance in it will get the message across. And if it goes well enough--maybe my teacher will forget about the time limit.

What do you think of Desire from Yankee Stadium, on the ZOO TV bonus disc?
