    well... I don't see it as pop... listen to pop nowadays. Pretty different. Yes it has some similarities with pop music, but to compare it with that

    hmm...don't agree on that. Does BD sound like some Trance-thing to you? Or Vertigo like a rapper going out of control?

    No it doesn't. But I also never heard any trance or a rapper going out of control on the radio. Must be listening to the wrong stations.

    But I agree that the boots will probably get little airplay.
  4. Boots was played 3 times here on Arrow today. I agree with Gerard that it misses a good solo..I wonder why Edge is playing on safe?

    I'm sure they tried to put some solo between the verses but maybe it didn't fit in?

    I don't know..when they finished it, they surely listened to the final result. And they surely came to the various conclusions. Maybe they wanted a solo, but the resulting song would become too long.
  8. Anyone find a climax in the song yet? Maybe it's that what I'm missing.
    The more I listen to it, the less I like it... Would have been an amazing track if they stopped it after 1:30.

    Hmm they could have cut some bits off and put a decent 20-seconds solo in it...

    This is the definite version which comes on the album? Cause it could be a single-edit. They might have a solo for us on the album

    Well no climax indeed... but the chorusses and rifs are freaking great imo.
