    I agree.

    However the song was played better during the Vertigo-tour, I had my beer-moment during Pride during the Elevation-tour already.

    Although Bono was trying to empower his emotions at the Obama concert, the performance was weak and missed a lot of inspiration, that was coming back during COBL - especially Edge. Bono's voice is not very suitable anymore to perform an ultimate Pride.

  6. I think Bono was trying to mold his performance to the situation. I doubt that he is used to not being the Messianic figure on stage.

    The first live performance for an age maybe. Although with all the recording sessions and the rehearsals, they should be used to it...
    The weather? No way. Unless there suddenly came an invisible blizzard while U2 were on. All the other performers had no problems with their voices.
