However, it would be good if Apple and Universal / Interscope released music equally all over the world.

My guess would be that North America doesn't get a physical CD-Single at all. That or Apple and Mercury don't care about making money.

very true. Physical single sales are dwindling.

Confident that the album will deliver though.

  4. I still don´t see why they chosen this as first single, to promote the album
But, theirs alot of things you dont get or even HAVE to understand lol
An album is to come as well
  5. I think the song will make even more sense once we hear it live a few times, and hear it in the context of the album
  6. yep, I don't think it's anything OMGish, it's weird and too much stuff in it. But, it does cause curiosity...and maybe I'm too optimistic, but this song makes me thing that the album will be a good and hopefully great one. The song IS different to the previous 2 albums, they have dared to play around with their standards and add so much (TOO much) extra stuff, which is wonderful, so I'm hoping for a good album.
  7. let's keep in mind that it was the weakest of the beach clips - as someone pointed out too.

It was my favourite Beach Clip. And since Boots is a slightly above average track, the album will clearly be below average. I won't buy it.

Insert smiley of your choice here.

is this your wry sense of humor?

  9. This is the simple maths that some people like to to.

Seriously, Beach Clip 3 was/is indeed my favourite, and I do think it's just 6/10 now. And since the finished version is 95% identical to the clip, I'm curious about the rest.

I wonder too. Not to hype the Beach Clips again, but I listened to GOYB and BC3 last night and like Yeah says, it's almost identical. Some stuff at the end if different. It was my least favourite BC, 4 was my favourite. And having the whiteboard in mind, I think most songs will have changed.

I also wonder why they put this one out as single. My brother, not a massive U2-fan though, doesn't like it at all. I think the public doesn't like it that much either. Not that I care, I'm confident about the album.
  11. Well, Boots has to be the worst first single ever by U2. And that is a big concern if you count all the pre-hype of the new album.

Dont like the sound of that either...
