  1. So to bring on the new U2 era...I thought this would be neat...plus im really glad that im on here more now

    so...where were you when Get On Your Boots was released/Debuted?

    I was in tahoe on a trip with some friends and at 3 am I downloaded GOYB...was disappointed...but glad to hear it! so...Where were you?
  2. I was the kitchen in my flat listening to BBC Radio 1, Chris Moyles show - slightly surprised by what I heard, but no less delighted to hear new U2 music hitting the airwaves

  4. I had intended to stay up until 3:10 AM (time in the Eastern U.S.) and listen to it online, but I had basketball practice at 9 AM, so unfortunately I could not stay up. So to answer the question, I was in bed
  5. I was in lying in bed on the laptop, listening to the live stream, while chatting on here with steve, and talking on the phone with my girlfriend who was trying to keep me awake so I could actually hear the song. lol it was about 3AM here.
  6. I think I was out somewhere.

    I got it about 10.30pm that night, which would have been around 11am in Dublin.
  7. I was sitting in front of my computer, woke up in the middle of the night just to hear the RTE radio broadcast, and it was 3:00AM here! I was sitting here in only boxers haha, and I was very very happy when I heard the new song!!! It was awesome to share the experience with some of the members here who also happened to stay up and jump on the forum, and talk about the anticipation as well as the thoughts after it was played. I put it on my ipod a minute after the broadcast, and I listened to it about 10 times before going to bed haha, i had school the next day though, it was rough

  9. Heard that it was being played at 8.05am the next day at work, i start work at 8am so got there early the next day just incase i missed it. Was very exciting!
  10. It was going to debut at exactly midnight so i stayed up watching a movie. I watched the ray charles movie Ray. it was good but i didnt finish cuz at around 12;20 i went to see if it was there and i just bought it on itunes and listened to it for the first time in the dark at around 12:25 in the morning and literally played it 24 times before knocking out.
  11. I thought this was about Obama's inaguration when I first opened this topic.

    I was right here, online and listening to the RTE stream starting at 2:30am, hyperventilating all over these forums, heard the song at 3:10am, loved it, and played it on repeat til about 4am.
