1. Laying in bed with my laptop next to me and the CX300 plugged in to my ears. Listening to 2FM with the MP3 already on the stereoset.
  2. I was behind the comp, having my best breakfast ever
  3. I just got home from work at about 6pm and quickly logged on just as it was airing first on RTE. I initially logged on to the wrong RTE (see early pages of OMG topic) and then was set in the right direction by the U2start.com brotherhood.

Was initially underwhelmed and still am to a point. The lady kept on telling me to turn it down.
  4. Sleeping!
  5. Coming back from a conference in Cambridge... listened to it for the first time on U2.com.

    Bono is too high...
  6. ... when we were getting high?
  7. Driving in my car on way to work, listening to Chris Moyles on Radio 1.

He finished and I switched to Johnny Vaughan on Capital and heard it again.

    Lovely.

Go to work, got on here and, acquired, an mp3

I was hoping you were gonna say "..with my arm up a cow's bum"

    Me -- In work too.
  9. I was in my car, on my way home. It was 11:27am and I had a local radio station turned on, hoping I'd hear Boots on my drive home. suddenly the radio guy said something like "and now... drum rolls, please... we're having a world premiere today..." - and I thought "could it be?!omg!" and then they said they would play U2's new single now... and I stopped the car by the side of the road, turned off the engine, turned up both volume and bass... and the song started. It was mind-blowing, me by the side of the road, rain and wind outside, and the beat of GOYB vibrating through my body. I found myself slightly headbanging and squeeing by the time the song came to an end -- what a ride. Will never forget that "first time"
  10. Bed, was gonna get up but a poor nights sleep, missed the radio play so watched it on Youtube
  11. In my car, driving to work.
I did my best to arrive late, and heard GOYB on 3FM at 9:13 local time.

Bring on the new U2 era!
