(2009 - old stuff) Let me first say that I am a big fan of most of Radiohead and Coldplay's music. I just feel like starting trouble tonight I guess

For all you Radiohead fans out there that ripped the Grammy awards for the last 6 years saying they were nonsense and only sellout bands like U2 win those kind of cheesy awads, not artsy bands like our Radiohead, I am just curious if you have changed your tone now that Radiohead has been nominated for some pretty prestegious Grammys this year? Are the Grammys now revelant to you? Or are they still a bunch of crap and you could care less if In Rainbows wins album of the year? Because all I heard when U2 was winning Grammys left and right the last 6 years was how cheesy the Grammys were and how U2 winning means nothing in the grand scheme of things. I mean if shit albums like HTDAAB can win album of the year, I am sure the great In Rainbows album is a lock.
My slight jabs at Radiohead aside, how many of us put stock in the Grammys? I for one think they are still pretty prestigiuos and some of the best albums and songs of the year usually win in the major categories.
Allow me to mention that Jethro Tull won a heavy metal award right now to get that out of the way because someone is bound to bring that up.
