    The video's quality is nothing more than 8 / 10, but it's still a great concert. Must have, without dubt.

    It's a RIP of a 2nd Generation VHS transferred to DVD. What did you expect?

    you see all this 2nd Generation crap means nothing to me. If I hear about an awesome quality video to download from here or there and I download it and it turns out to be not as good as i'm told then that constitutes as a dissapointment to me

    X Generation stands for the copies done of the show before the version you have. If your copy is a 3rd Generation, that means that from the Master (1st Generation) was done a copy (loosing quality) and later from this 2nd copy another one was done (loosing more quality). Because of that, a 1st Gen boot is the best, a 2nd is not...

    2nd gen means that it's a copy of a copy of the master. VHS cassettes lose quality when they get copied and they wear out.
    If you spend 2 seconds on achtungbootlegs, or any detailed trader's site you'll see what generation a video is sourced from. That might help you to avoid future disappointments.
    A lot of the videos are pretty old and no postproduction was done.
    You can't expect that these older videos have the same quality as the recent broadcasts/official DVDs.

    Also keep in mind that you'll only get rips here or on spiral's blog. They're compressed and inferior to the actual DVDs.

  11. On this topic, I also have a question;

    Is this version the one with the original soundboard audio or the one mixed with the excellent audience source from the well known bootleg?

    grtz,
