1. haahah

    [ ] care
    [x] U2's cover is better.
  2. So they're gonna perform (Boots..) at the Grammys, should be interesting
  3. Ouch.

At least it looks like they used the same concept as for the album cover.

  4. I don't like it. I mean I don't like the (possible/even unintended) plagiarism. At all

  5. I wasn't referring to the "plagiarism" but to the conception of the 2 cover pictures, though.
  6. Maybe there is something behind this. The song is about women who should take over the power that is now in hands of men. Original cover is 'Girls In The House'... hmm. There are so many similarities between this two covers so it has to be for something.

If that was some kind of parody or tribute or something they wouldn't have chosen a band from a german casting show that released 2 albums and broke up 3 years ago...
This is either coincidence or a rip off. Nothing deeper behind imo.
  8. from U2log about the video

Ann Xiao, an animation artist, blogs about working on U2’s video for Get On Your Boots.

She writes that working on the video is one of her most exciting projects and that she had 10 days to complete nearly four minutes of film, which combines live action with animation.

“In junior high school when I gave my brother to listen to U2, and I did not expect that one day I would direct their music video! [...] The film is about feminist girl power, women are the future, women save the world. I am responsible for all design and animation. Martyn is responsible for live shooting and editing. “

In the story, the heroine kicks, punches her way through the video with loud gunfire. Ann Xiao says it is a lot of fun and that it made her dream of Bono saying: “This isn’t a music video. This is a computer game!”

that last part sounds pretty cool
  9. How many hours till the video comes out?
  10. i think 8 ish, just an uncalculated guess
  11. Now will this video really be available for the rest of the world
Or just for Ireland/ (UK maybe?)?
That´s what im wondering, but its prob up within minutes on youtube or somethin
So no need to worry, altough it would be nice too see it as they premiere it
