I actually don't care much about a video, to be honest. It's nice to watch it but the music does it for me, not the videoclip. I never watch MTV anyway...

See I'm usually like that too. I can usually picture a place or setting when I hear a song, and usually the ones that come to my head aren't from videos. Take Still Haven't Found for instance, if anyone says this new video is worse than that one, then wooooooooooooooooooow no you're wrong. The video for ISHFWILF is witty and fun, but it has NOTHING to do with the song, and doesn't represent it well at all, which I think is a video's job to do. I love the new video, it added a different dimension to the song for me. Now when I listen to it I hear it in a new light, if you know what im sayin.

yeah that piano-ish sound is louder.

No, it's not just you. I just compared it, there is a slight difference. The clip-version seems to have a sort of 'echo' over it..can't describe it really.
  4. So did they just copied pictures from the internet without paying for it:

personally, I like the video version of that part more than what we heard before.

edit: and I can't believe that u2/the guys behind the video made a mistake such as overlooking a watermark. seriously, everyone of us saw it after the 3rd watch or something, they must have noticed. I'm still saying they did all this on purpose.
  6. thanks for the ipod ready video

I don't think that was on purpose, I'm just saying that we saw working version, and that's all.

  9. No, Getty Images.com is a stock photography site. Stock photography means that companies can buy (or sometimes use for free) these photos, which were sold to stock photography sites by photographers around the world. They're made available for commercial use.

It seems U2 used some images in this (probably) raw version. They surely bought the real ones (I hope) and we'll probably see these in a final version.

    too slow, evman!

  11. that doesn't explain though why every site and tv channel supposed to show the new clip withdrew the announcement. why would they all be sent the 'video in progress' ? I can't see how this happened by mistake.
