Hehehe, I've rated loads of U2 songs 5 stars on my iPod...I'm easy to satisfy

Oh, you mean on your Ipod, I thought you meant in terms of reviewing the song as a 5 star or 10/10 song.

Well, then it's still a 5 for me![]()

But, as said, It's not tough to satisfy me

So is a 5 star song perfect in your book? ie. one that couldn't be improved further?
No, 5 stars doesn't have to be THE perfect song, but a good song which I really like could cetainly be worth 5 stars...And the chorus of GOYB is beautiful IMO...Bono sounds really awesome there, I don't think he sounded this good on a lot of album songs.![]()

You mean the 'you don't know how beautiful you are' bit? that sounds like HTDAAB both in the lyrics and the singing, it isn't much different to COBL.
The quality of his singing is hardly in the chorus is hardly exceptional either, sounds like any other rock band could do.
What makes it such a standout to you? The verses seem much better than the chorus to me. They have good, visual lyrics and an interesting rhythm.
