'Women of the future ...'
The video for Get On Your Boots is something else... and it'll be premiered on U2.Com today.
Check back with us before 5pm (GMT) to see the dazzling clip featuring the band performing against a backdrop of complex graphic art designed by video director Alex Courtes.
'It's based around the idea that men have f**ked things up so badly, politically, economically and socially, that it's really time we handed things over to women,' says Edge. 'The finished video is brilliant. (Alex) really nailed it.'
French film maker and artist Courtes also directed (with former creative partner Martin Fougeral) the Grammy winning video for “Vertigo” and the video for “City of Blinding Lights”.
“Get On Your Boots” is the first single from the band's 12th studio album No Line On The Horizon, out 2nd March 2009.
As the song goes, 'Women of the future / Hold the big revelations...'
