  5. Thanks, LikeaSong. The clips are awesome!!! They're definitely moving in some new directions with this album Sort of a mix of UF/JT and AB/Pop with something else entirely. "Breathe" sounds like no song they have ever done.

    Wish I could hear more of Moment of Surrender. Man, I can't wait to hear this album!!!!

I'm not saying the latter won't be the case in time, BUT I think that there's promise - we could be in for exciting times.

    EDIT - Being Born sounded awesome, and Bono's singing in Breathe made me think of Dylan...the bit about 'a cockatoo' etc., dunno.

    For my money's worth, I think so. If you manage to get through to March 2nd without checking them out, I will...praise you immensely lol. You obviously can't much more than an impression, but I think they're good to be going on with. It's all opinion, but my interest has perked up.

    but that video from the Guardian (right?) is awesome, love that riff he plays, I think it was the one yo mentioned on the Strat. Which song is that?

    It's just Sergio's vid. you're gonna have to guard yourself from then

    The thing I meant was with Lanois on a white Strat. looking guitar thing, but the thing I think you mean doesn't sound like anything from the clips as far as I can tell. That was pretty funky but I don't think it's made the album.

    ah i see. funky indeed....and i'm no longer tempted! it's a sign that i don't need to listen yet! lol I listened to the entirety of Bomb before it came out, I 'd really love to listen to it like they used to before internet leaks; although I listened to ATYCLB for the first time through when I got it, had only heard BD, and I still remember the occasion...le sigh

    Remember the first time I heard HTDAAB clear as day. First time I heard Miracle Drug, I was blown away - might be just me, but I love it.

    Me too. I went nuts for Miracle Drug. It was amazing on CD:UK aswell.
