  1. MD never grabbed me..SYCMIOYO and COBL did after the first listening.

    And folks, please don't judge the album after eleven 30-sec clips.

  2. They played it on CD:UK? Funny thing was, when I first heard it, it made me think of Coldplay, but the Coldplay track it reminds of the most is Fix You which was released a year later lol...just one of those odd moments.

    I like COBL, but I think it's much better live. It feels slightly too layered on the album, although I do still think it's great. I think everyone knows what I think of Sometimes (and I know I'm not alone lol).

    And re. your point about pre-judging, I couldn't agree more - the snippets are intriguing but they're not the entire thing

  4. Taking a long time to load unfortunately, gonna have to check the whole thing some other time. The main thing that gets me is that he's playing his Epiphone Casino as opposed to the Explorer, but that's a topic for another thread.

    I hope that (in our respective cases) we have a few MD moments (preferably an entire album full ) when NLOTH is finally released.

  6. isn't the music pre-recorded though? pretty sure when i saw that it was the album version they were playing along to. Don't get why they do that sometimes

    most of those TV shows are like that. I just loved that Bono managed to get the usually stale crowd singing during the middle part

  9. ok ok ok ok i listened to the clips i broke down

    this album, from the clips, seems like an absolute grower. I don't really know what to think, but i like what i heard. I think it definitely sounds different and new and not what i was expecting, which is always a nice surprise. I'm left not jumping off the walls with excitement nor am i upset with what i heard. I'll just obviously have to hear the whole songs to get inside them, but we should be up for a wild ride

  12. Every post here is from another's point of view
    I see some posts here which I think are unnecessary, saying the album will be shit or something. The only way to judge is to listen at least 10 times to the whole album in various locations and situations, and in high quality, these clips suck quality-wise.
