  1. I expected more from the bridge to be honest, but i watched it in terrible quality
  2. Killer performance I thought. Bono's voice sounded a bit scratchy, but Edge and Larry and Adam were on fire. Bono's enthusiasm was awesome. That little foot dance thing he did was hot. Love how they started with the "let me in the sound" intro then got right into the song.

    Love love love how Edge sounded. Love it. This song is going to kick ass live if they tweak it and get it right.

  3. the sound (over here) was crap, but the performance itself looked good (larry using congas? lol cool!). bono went back to zoo tv as it seems.

    but damn, I want to hear it again, but with better mixed sound/vocals can't say anything about it otherwise.
  4. Bono wearing eye makeup? Larry playing the drums standing up for a portion of the song?

    I don't think they are comfortable playing Boots live yet. Think a good first effort though that should get better in front of their own fan base.

  6. Oh my God I can't believe I saw a live performance by U2!!!!!
    It'll probably be the only time I will see them playing live!!
    I mean, I wasn't there, but the Grammy's are being transmitted live!!!
    I SAW THEM!!!

  7. Well, obviously the first performance isn't gonna be the best lol. But for the time being, it's WAY more than enough!! Unfortunately, my TV's sound kept going from left to right (unevenly) which made it harder to actually hear the band. And, a telemarketer called during the performance

    All in all, I was blown away!!!
  8. Very good performance. Loved it but the mix wasn't that great on tv (as usual with the grammys). Other than that I think it rocked. It's definitely going to kick major ass on the tour . Overall they were tight. Edge, Adam, and Larry were locked in the groove. Loved seeing Adam playing a different bass than the usual fender jazz's, although I'm a jazz fanatic. Bass sound was on time.

    Hope someone has a link to post for everyone else.

  9. good performance, but I was disappointed to see those ridiculous platform shoes. If ever there was a time to bring back the leather boots from zooTV and JT tours it would be now.. embarrassing.

  11. it was live on Arena on foxtel. I thought it was a good performance seeing as though its a new song and they can probably count the number of times theyve played it live on 2 hands, including practicing. it will be interesting to see it in a few weeks at the brit awards, the best part of vertigo, when played live, wasnt around to start with, so i rekon theyll do sumthing to boots over the tour.
