  2. I thought Bono sounded great. A little tired at parts, but other than that he was spot on. I really liked the intro. Very cool. I'm still kinda disappointed to see that they kicked it off. They didn't really get any hype, there wasn't any build up to their performance, but then again, it makes sense because they didn't really have any reason to be there. Wicked performance.

    1 more thing, COLDPLAY DIDN'T WIN! YAY!!!!!!!!!!

  4. In all seriousness, I thought U2 was the best performance. And I'm not just saying that because I'm a U2 fan. Every other act was boring as hell, even Robert Plant and Alison Krauss sucked, which was a performance I was looking forward to. Every Rap performance was crap. B.B King and Mayer and stuff was good, but still sort of bland. Coldplay was Coldplay, Martin still can't hit those high notes in the chorus of Viva la Vida, which is saying something about how magical the studio is. U2 rocked that.
  5. hell of a performance though it sounds like they're still figuring it out, which is normal. Love the effect for Edge's "solo".....looking forward to listening to this over and over, and watching it

    GREAT GRAPHICS in the background; GOYB seemed a little
    fast but you got to keep up with the click-track you know.
    Good, early 'test performance tho'.

Only bit I had sort of took issue with was the effect Edge has when the riff kicks in to start off (also used later on) but the Wah-ed up stuff like the solo and during the "let me in the sound" was awesome. Interesting that he was using his Tele. unlike the video. But yeah, great performance to kick off preceedings for the next stage in the band's career.

    Great kick-off of the promo-tour, great performance, great video and some heavy guitar work.

    I loved the beginning when bono was front of the screen( remind me ZOOtv )
    and first I thought : naah he's wearing sunglasses...but in the end it was a great suprise
