    NOTE - NOTE - NOTE - NOTE - NOTE - NOTE

Comcast pushed thru a Firmware update in September which messed-up the recording of .TS files. I have to 'Trick' CapDVHS into making the recording. The resulting recording sometimes has problems with VLC player but works fine with Windows Media Player Classic.
    ********************************************************

NOTE: You will need a Media Player that plays .ts files such as:

    - Media Player Classic (Free): http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=82303&package_id=84358

    - VLC Media Player (Free): http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

    - CyberLink PowerDVD ($$$): http://www.cyberlink.com/multi/products/main_1_ENU.html

    - Nero ShowTime ($$$): http://www.nero.com/

To burn these files to a DVD they need to be converted (Free):

    PC: http://www.svcd2dvd.com/HDTV2DVD/
    Mac: http://www.isquint.org/

    Enjoy!

  2. Most credit to 'chrismcmanus' for the capture, conversion and original upload
  3. AC3 Audio: 3/2 Channels (L, C, R, SL, SR) + LFE, 48.0 kHz, 384 kbps.

    isn't ac3 lossy?
  4. that lossless one is loud as fuck

  5. yeah, something went wrong I think... you can change it in Itunes though. Oh and it's lossy anyway. Pity.
  6. do you want to take those links down dieder (the audio ones). We'l have to wait a while for a true lossless copy. I'll download the video and add it to our premium account and do a nice high bitrate avi rip and add it all to the bootleg page
  7. Done, but why should you convert the video to .AVI.... the video is great as it is.

  8. That is not HD version. I posted the hd version of the inauguration later (or the info on the page is outdated)

But I don't know if a lossless source will appear. I'd choose AC3 over a crappy analogue tv signal. But a LPCM source (or a HQ analogue recording) will be amazing.
  9. Any chance of a RS-link of this (HD)-vid? MU is a pain in the arse here.
