  4. Actually I quite like this one. I don't feel they can make another work of art like Achtung Baby (read: Zooropa). If it will be better than ATYCLB is not sure as well. What a album that is. The 30 seconds clips sounds good, but not as I expected. For example I expected a heavier sound.

  8. If you compare the album to AB, you expect a heavier sound. I mean, AB has the heaviest U2 sound (Zoo Station, The Fly). Obv. they are able to make another masterpiece. I see ATYCLB as a masterpiece too, I'm still not sure about HTDAAB.

    i just don't happen to agree with any negative U2 reviews.....well not necessarily that exactly, but I'm much more inclined to believe the positive reviews than the negative ones

    I don't tend to listen to either lol. If there are any particular correlations between positive and negatives reviews, I might take that in, but I always wait to let myself be the judge of it because I'm gonna be the one who's paying the £12 or so and listening to it. I'm not bothered by critics, because they're not paid to take into account the personal taste of others - they're using their own subjective stance to review it, and that's admirable (i.e. putting their views out there to be shot down or otherwise) but it doesn't mean I'm gonna listen to them lol. For all I know, I might end up agreeing with one review or another, but until I get the chance to listen to the entire album all the way through, I'm entirely unmoved lol.

    I don't think there's anything wrong with that actually. I get where you're coming from. I want this album to be their best work ever, believe me I do. But that being said, these are people who have listened to the full album while most of us have only heard one single and a few beach clips or 30 second previews. Most of the reviews are positive, but when a negative one comes out, I don't think we can discredit it immediately and say the guy doesn't know what he's talking about.
