1. If you find a free spot from listening to NLOTH and want to watch another great band:

Good morning. As part of a new weekly concert series from MTV Networks International, Coldplay's upcoming show at the Tokyo Saitama Super Arena will be screened on 62 MTV channels around the world. The MTV World Stage show will air on Friday 27th February.
  2. Did anyone get the audio from the Grammys the other night? I want that acoustic Lost and that very energetic Viva La Vida. Thanks if you know where I can find it.

    Why exactly aren't they rock?

on another note, we're going to see them again this summer!!!

  4. And where is rock in their music? Rock is powerful energic and almost a little hard. But not just lullabies... sorry, don't want to annoy anyone, but all songs by Coldplay are slow and light. And it isn't rock. Howgh

Not all of them are slow like the Scientist, that's a big generalisation, have you listened to Viva La Vida (the album)?

Rock is very big umbrella, it stretches all the way from Metallica to Radiohead, Coldplay fits somewhere within that spectrum.

Indeed, that's the same as saying U2 isn't making rock music by listen to OOTS and Sometimes.

  7. Yep... but where is song like Vertigo, Elevation, etc... Coldplay have some fast song like that? If yes, gimme some link (to youtube or something). If Violet Hill is the fastest track (it is the best, what I've heard by them), I can't call it rock.Sorry
edit: And yes, didn't heard whole Viva La Vida, but heard full previous albums and there isn't rock track...

Politics, A Whisper, God Put A Smile.., One I Love, 42, some examples of fast songs.. At least partially.

But I think it's very subjective, depends on how you would define rock.

  9. OK, two or three of them I could call slow rock (if it give a sense) But didn't take my sympathies (maybe mainly because of his womanish voice).
  10. Pre-sale for my local concert starts in 25 minutes....
