U2 set to appear on BBC Radio 1
The wheels are now seriously turning on the promotional machine for No Line On The Horizon. Just before crossing the Atlantic to play David Letterman's show for a whole week, U2 are going to make an appearance in the BBC Radio Theatre in London. This Live Lounge session will take place on the 27th of February and it will be broadcast on Jo Whiley's daytime show from 10am on BBC Radio 1. It will consist of three songs. If you want to attend, you will need to listen to Jo Whiley's show from Monday the 23rd for details.
The BBC have set up a minisite about U2 and their forthcoming appearance. Last time U2 were promoting an album, they also appeared on Radio 1, but on Zane Lowe's show. That time, they played a five song set at their Hanover Quay studios in Dublin on 16 November 2004.

And those five songs from HTDAAB were also LIVE broadcasted in Holland including an interview with the band by Ruud de Wild. Anyway, is the minisite in the air already?
