And that for a B-side..great job.

    *after several listens though*

A lot fresher & more original than most of the bomb tracks - love the intro and the outro, particularly Larry's double cymbal finale!!
  2. Only the chorus sounds U2'ish. Otherwise you should think you are listening to a different band like The White Stripes.

no matter what U2 do though it always sounds like U2

  4. maybe because it's U2 and they make the music. But this riff is pretty heavy, can't imagine Edge's ever done anything like this.
  5. They better play this version on tour rather than the slower version
  6. I have to say, the B-side is much better than the A-side. I think it's brilliant, much better than Get On Your Boots. I'd probably think this'd be more successful on the radio.
  7. Listened to it about 5 times and I like, but not as much as Boots, although that took a while to grow on me. The song sounds like 80's U2 to me. I can't put my finger on why or how, but thats my 5 second first impression.

When did they do anything at all like this in the 80's???

Agree 100%. What were they thinking really? Who had the final word on this?

Boots is on the thin line of plagiarism also. Cant say that about NLOTH, not yet at least.

plagiarism of what track? I think GOYB is a better single than NLOTH. Love both songs.
