On topic, I hope they do some comedy bits with Dave. Funny comedy bits. Not something like "let's throw a Gibson Explorer off a building."

Ahh, I knew that Conan was taking Jay's place, but I wasn't sure who was taking Conan's. Thanks!

That should be considered a crime. Anyway, as long as the bald guy stays out of it, it shouldn't suck too badly lol.

[Sorry, the comedian in me brought us off topic:X]
  2. Can we expect another HD rip?

  3. Dave is funny, but I agree, Conan is waaaay cooler
As others have said, 5 nights with Conan would be amazing!
Yeah, a few comedy bits would be fun to watch
  4. Are they gonna play every night or just make an appearence?
Lol, it would suck if the five days all they did was just be there talking and doing stuff except playing!

Ok, I read it, they are playing.
Let's just hope they play two songs per night!
  5. Lets pray while they are in New York for the week of the album release thay play some small clubs for a promo tour so I can gooo!
  6. so excited!!!!!! A reason to stay up late (besides to post on U2start!)
  7. And then the week after U2 - Dave should have Joaquin Phoenix on
for all 5 days with his rap music!

For some bands, Letterman sometimes does a webcast, I think it is called Live on Letterman. The bands have an hour-long show at the Ed Sullivan Theatre. Pearl Jam did it in 2006 and it was a fan club show that was webcast and I think other bands have included Audioslave and Foo Fighters.

Considering that Monday and Friday night shows are both filmed on Monday, they could do a Live on Letterman show as well either that night or some other night of the week.
  10. I don't know that they're necessarily desperate, but maybe "aggressively marketting" might be a better term. I heard that some other band did this last year... anyone remember who it was?
