1. thanks. We'll see.....usually with these presales, Ticketmaster has a way of screwing over the casual fan.

  2. yup. definitely in the process of getting F-ed over by them.
  3. this is the point where Yeah says he always finds tickets the day before the show....
  4. I'm pretty sure you'll make it... I'm a believer.

  5. Update:

Well, after serveral unsuccessful attempts, I got 2 tickets for me, and 2 for my brother. Not the closest to the stage section, but the front of the next section back. (Amphitheater, not arena in my city.) $500 USD for the 4 tickets.
  6. I was just about to order tickets for Comcast Center this morning but the $27 in ticket fees pretty much made me decide I didn't want to go. Seats weren't all that great either. I've seen them twice already so going to put my money towards U2 instead.
  7. I Just bought tix for the Mansfield show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God, I've never been more excited lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately, they went like crazy, so I have the Lawn section, way in the boonies.

    YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  8. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin said he is planning to issue a live album for free later this year. The band are aiming to record one of this summer's shows, part of their massive Viva La Vida tour, and let fans who attend the gigs have a free copy.

The band's most recent album Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends was the biggest selling album worldwide of 2008 shifting 6.8 million copies and was reissued at the tail end of the year in a deluxe edition with the EP Prospekt's March. They recently went back into the studio to work on new material for the follow-up, although Chris Martin was told to stay away from the studio for a fortnight at the request of producer Brian Eno.

Martin said the live album was meant as a thank you to fans for heading to the band's show at a time when money is tight, although they are still working out the logistics.

He told The Sun today: “We’re playing a lot of shows in the summer and I think what we would like to do is — bearing in mind the recession we are in — record the live album then give it as a gift. We are just trying to work out how to do that.

“It’s a way of saying thank you. “It’s a tough economy and people are paying a lot of money for tickets. We are trying to work out a way that, when you hand your ticket in at the door, you get given the recording.”

Also, they'll play for warchild after the brits, with a "very special guest" announced...

  9. They'd better tape Nijmegen...

  10. Thats why I cant get into them. Tried but never made it through an whole album..

  11. What?
They really do not sound that much like U2 at all. May I ask you what song(s) specifically sound like a specific U2 song(s)?
