1. Hey guys. So I have to write a paragraph for the yearbook this year because I'm graduating from high school. Basically it's just I say things like "It's been a great 4 years", "The friends I made I'll never forget" and all that kinda crap.

I want to put a U2 quote in it, because U2 became my favourite band and religion in grade 9, and my connection to U2 has only become stronger as the years went by. I want some suggestions from you guys!!! I want to put something that isn't too cliché, but at the same time meaningful. Right now I'm thinking I might put

"Dream up the kind of world you want to live in, dream out loud, at high volume".
    -Bono

Or something. Any help from my fellow U2 fans? I know you guys would know best!

    Alex
  2. maybe the dream it all up again speech? goin to college startin over as far as school ya know? but the one you gut is good too!

  3. That's good too, never thought of that one. We'll see, I'm hoping there's a big storm of ideas on this one haha. But I'm leaning towards something from the dublin 89 gigs.
  4. I think a quote from early stuff-maybe something from boy or october
  5. "I have the biggest 'instrument' in the band."
  6. Are you looking for quotes from the band or song lyrics?
I collected a bunch of U2 lyrics and made some quote-collages for my friends when I graduated from high school. I'll see if I can dig up the list and sort out the un-cliched ones if that's what you're looking for.
  7. 'One step closer to knowing'
    Sounds perfect for a graduation

BTW I have to do the same this year
