  4. The album has defintely leaked. I came on to comment on it and saw 11 pages worth of comments and so that makes me feel good. I had it sent to me and promptly deleted it. I will give anything a listen before it comes out except for my favorite bands. I had the Oasis record sent to me weeks before the release and the new Doves album has been sent to me and I delete them all. I can't justify listening ahead of time. One of teh great things about music is buying that record the day it comes out and reading the lyrics and looknig at the pictuers and the physicality of actaully holding it in your hand. Especially with this release by U2 (I will of course be buying the boxset) there is no way I can listen to it. My plan on the otherhand is to go through every record and listen to them back to back like I usually do. I'm on Rattle and Hum right now... although I'm taking a break to listen to the 12-12-97 show from Seattle because Mofo is brilliant on it. Cheers all. Stay strong and hold out until March 2nd/ 3rd.

  7. dang, this is really hard. And it's only been out a few hours!! How on earth am I going to last another 13 friggin' days?!?!?? I freaked out when I came into this sub-forum and I couldn't find this thread at first. Stay with me, folks. We can do this together! Maybe this thread should be 'stickied' or whatever it is that keeps it at the top of the page, *g*

  11. I am staying strong. I haven't listened to either the Beach Clips or the Wal-Mart audio previews. The only things I know are "Get On Your Boots" and the making of videos from U2.com. I feel proud.

    Just a question, however. Did it ever occur to any of us that maybe all of this time on the computer and U2Start is making it much harder to keep cool about this?

    If anything, alternating between Anime, Bob Dylan, Sugar (the band), Beastie Boys and The Beatles (the eternal love affair of my life) helps a lot.
