  1. Hi,

    I used to have quite a collection of bootlegs on audio tape (remember those things?!) but after moving out of my Mum and Dad's house and moving house myself, all of my tapes have dissppeared.

    Anyway, I remember having a bootleg of various different songs from different shows. I think it was called 'best of U2 live' or something like that and it was all early stuff, nothing after Joshua Tree certainly. The version of The Unforgettable Fire on the bootleg was one of the best I've heard. It's sound quality was really good and the great thing was Bono made a mistake - he sang the second chorus first. I'm looking for anyone who knows which show it was from.

    Please help!

    Could be TUF or JT, sure it wasn't after Joshua Tree? During Lovetown they played some TUF. I would filter our bootlegs on sound quality and compare setlists (if you now more songs from the show you're looking for).
  3. Problem is it wasn't a bootleg of just one show. Each song on the tape was from a different show, with fade in and fade out for each song. Wish I knew!

    Ahaa..well, there are some U2-archivers here who probably know the answer. Just be patient.
  7. Nope, Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For!!!

    The complilation is definately pre Zoo TV and I'm almost sure it's pre Joshua Tree tour.

    I've been going through all my live versions(out of curiosity) of TUF but still haven't came across the version the OP is talking about?
  11. I m sure this would happened during the first shows form the UF tour...it just have to find it ....
