  1. Right, do we have a topic for this? Any thoughts on the next singles?

    I would bet on Breathe and Magnificent

    I'll go crazy etc. might also be one.
  2. I really hope it's going to be Magnificent, I have a feeling it will be the hit that GOYB never was/is.
  3. I'm pretty sure there will be 4 single releases as thats how many singles the special box can fit that they are making for the 7"s. So we have one.... and remember that the singles have to be short enough to fit on the vinyl as well as be short enough to play on the radio...

    1) Get On Your Boots
    2) Magnificent
    3) I'll Go Crazy If I Don't Go Crazy Tonight
    4) Breathe or Stand Up Comedy (Think its more likely to be Stand Up Comedy as the band has spoken about this one more - Breathe is mainly plugged by Eno!)

    It won't be White as Snow as its the song for a new movie coming out.
    It won't be Moment of Surrender, Unknown Caller, FEZ-Being Born as they are too long
    It won't be Cedars of Lebanon as its the last track
    I don't think No Line will get a release since the remix came out with GOYB's

    I have to agree with you. I think I saw somewhere on this site that GOYB, I'll Go Crazy, and Breathe were already confirmed. Not sure how that would be but oh well. Man, I wish I could et one of those 7" boxes.

  8. I've read on U2place.com that, according to sources close to the band, IGCIYDGCT should be next, followed by Magnificent. Then yes, either Breathe or Stand up Comedy (or both!).
  9. I think Scott_McD has hit the nail on the head from everything I've heard. They're definitely scheduling 4 releases on 7"

    PS. I also can see NLOTH being a single. It's a powerful song and I think it deserves that... And I don't want NLOTH-2 to be the only versions known by the world
