  1. 3 days after first hearing this and listening to it over and over again - starting to think that this might be one of the best (top 5) songs they have ever released.

    Absolute sheer perfection.

    Early next week, an episode of The Culture Show on BBC Two in the UK will focus on U2. Broadcast from 10pm on Tuesday the 24th, it features interviews with all four band members by Lauren Laverne - and intimate live performances. See the BBC's listing for this episode here.

    The interviews and performances took place at the start of this month at the band's Dublin studios. We are presently unsure of the exact date but believe it took place no earlier than the 2nd of February and no later than the 5th. What we do know is what the band played. The print edition of the NME dated for the 21st of February features a lengthy U2 article, "The Superleague of Ordinary Gentlemen" by James McMahon, and in this article, McMahon describes watching the band play for The Culture Show.

    To get a bit more precise, the NME states that No Line On The Horizon was played "three and a half" times. For all three songs, this listing constitutes their live debuts. The NME adds that the performances are "ropey yet enjoyable", and that Bono promises the author "you will never, ever see us play that badly again". We are unaware how much of the set will be broadcast.

    ok about this song... hands down the best song off the new album (for me). this starts very techno-like. when i used to be a DJ one of my favorite songs by Acid Factory "Fantasy" the George Acosta mix sounds exactly like this opening. GREAT! Along with the Edge and the drumroll like "blow ups" of techno breakbeat. this song is MAGNIFICENT! absolutely beautiful. Right next to streets. Best song of the past 5 albums.

    This explains a lot. You can look at it with a different view, but 'Justified till we die, you and I will magnify The Magnificent' is completely about praising God. Writing The Magnificent in capitals is another hint.

    And 'from the whomb my first cry, it was a joyful noise' is about faith and God too. Christians see it as their way of life to praise God, that's their/our (as I am Christian) goal in life. People often ask themselves what the point and goal of life is, some will say to live a great life, to be healthy, lucky..Christians say to praise God. This song represents that perfectly.

    imagine this track live.it will be jaw dropping,

    one of the finest u2 tracks in years.

    and definately the 1st track they shouldve released off the album.
