I love the end of the show with Walk On but Ultra Violet would be AMAZING!!!

Wow, I never thought anyone would agree with me on that Lol.

I just don't like the Love is blindness + Can't help falling in love ending, too cold, too anti Zoo TV spirit. I think that shows should end how they started: a full scale sensory assault. Too bad they can't repeat The Fly... but something like that could end with a full electric version of Acrobat, and it suits perfectly to MacPhisto. The Mirrorball Man shows should have ended with Ultraviolet and MacPhisto's with Acrobat .

    Why?

I mean, imagine this... U2 goes on stage, plays the whole main set, then the first encore, then the second finishing with 40: everyone singing "How long... to sing this song..." Larry plays the last drum beats, says goodbye, we all know it's over... but the lights on the stadium don't turn on, an organ starts to sound an the stage turns red, you start hearing Larry's drumsticks and his hihat(or whatever) "tk-tk-tk-tk-tk-tssss tk-tk-tk-tk-tk-tssss" and then the 4 opening notes of Streets... I just go nuts with an ending like that.

I totally agree that the worst ending was Popmart with One + Wake up Dead Man. With that and giving every person on the show a gun and one bullet... you have the greatest massive suicide of all times.

And that's how it's got to be. That part of your post was perfect.

Lol! You're too classic, you shouldn't be afraid of trying new things . Anyway, for cold audiences like USA, I agree that 40 is fine .

Hey Aidan! How r ya buddy?
I hope your okay! I heard about the plane crash here over in NZ and i send my heart out to your nation who lost loved ones! I hope you are okay! Thinking of you i'll say more in your next email!

I know this post is a bit late.. But i;d say Walk On.. Just because its a song that can keep you thinking and just keep you going.. I love it because of that!
I also love Can;t Help falling in Love.. Its just an amazing song! Even tho it maybe sad theres just something about it that has a finality to it!
    Well take care everyone
  9. 40 again..that song could last for ages without getting bored...
  10. I really believe that it depends on the mood of the show..

After 9/11 Walk On was the best fitted ending song
and for the V tour, 40 was well fitted.

so each show on it's own!

I was just joking, the final show at Elevation has a good audience. It must be bad luck, but both DVDs at USA have a terrible audience, especially Boston.
  12. '40's fine but thats all it is. Just fine. I wasn't a fan on Love Is Blindness, Walk On, Or One either. I didn't like the 2nd Vertigo ending either. Hell, I don't think i've liked any U2 show closers. Bad kinda worked for me when it was used as a closer on a few Vertigo shows because they can wind it right down so that you thinks its over then kick it all up again....and again
