    It would really be a shame if U2 is gonna play the Amterdam Arena once more. They made excuses to the people during the Vertigo about the bad sound. It's a bad sign to the fans if they gonana play there now.


    It would be a shame indeed. Although I'm an Ajax-fan, De Kuip would be much more suitable.


  2. For me the same. I'm an Ajax fan, but for concerts I prefer the bathtub over the bathhouse. The sound is sooo bad.

    Unfortunately there is more money to be made in Amsterdam, there's no way any big act from outside Holland will attend Rotterdam for a few nights. Mojo will put them in Amsterdam for sure. I hope it will be Rotterdam myself too, but that's just not making sense. Really hope I'm wrong though, nothing better than U2 playing in De Kuip.

    And besides that De Kuip has the problem with the volume, it can't be too loud.


  6. What about Nijmegen, Groningen or Landgraaf (Pinkpop site).

    Or The Hague. Just put them on the Malieveld in the city centre, just like the Stones a few years ago.

    De meer has been demolished when the Amsterdam Arena was opened. On the location new houses are built.

    I justed wanted to point out there isn't an other stadium they can play then Amsterdam and Rotterdam


  12. There is an option. The Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam, but it's far from regular.

    Other sites in Holland where big concerts take place are: Megaland Landgraaf, Renbaan Groningen and Goffert Park Nijmegen, but these aren't stadiums.

    Gelredome is a stadium, but is much smaller than the Arena and de Kuip.
