1. goyb was great, liked the acustic intr, too bad its not complete
  2. Indeed. I hope the full version will surface someday (this Friday, might be )
  3. Boots, a cover and a classic on the Live Lounge on Friday.

Guesses for the 2 unknown songs?

  4. Crap. Would prefered 2 new songs
  5. Cover could be Stand By Me easily, or maybe some REM (Losing My Religion??) or The Killers stuff... Regarding the classic... I don't think they want to bore the audience with the same old Pride-One-WOWY stuff, so I bet for something fresh, a la In God's Country (it fits with the overall spiritual-religious feeling of the new album) or maybe something a bit darker like Stay or God Part II...

PS. Can someone imagine (as clearly as I do), GOYB merging into Vertigo OR God Part II, and viceversa (God Part II going into GOYB!) ???

  6. Yes. Fleet Foxes were on today and didn't do a cover - they 'couldn't get it ready' apparently.

    Poor.

I think the vintage will be something from AB or JT. If that's what they're comparing this album to. Will show Boots up a bit though.

I just hope it's not Beautiful Day....
  7. Maybe Love Me Tender
  8. Boots, Acrobat and ..ehm... The Ketchup Song
  9. Just checked the NLOTH version from the Culture show. Sounds too flat to me until Larry punches in around the 2 minutes mark. And someone please tell Bono to sing LOWER.
    Otherwise a nice one.

Edge hasn't yet mastered the distortion he came across on the album. They will have this onne nailed for tour time I reckon. Loved the complete 1 second stop before 'im a traffic cop. . .'
