1. What do you think about it being called U2's Kiss the Future Tour?

    More speculation.
  2. It'd look good on a t-shirt....

  3. Exactly. This is my (of course, invented) time for the tour:

    June => September: European Stadiums
    September => January: American Arenas
    February => May: European Arenas
    June => August: American Stadiums & Rest of the world

    So, a year and 2 months on tour looks not that crazy, PopMart did it, Zoo TV did it by far, Vertigo was going to do it, etc... Opinions, corrections?

    Besides, it's not likely U2 will play 3 days in a row here, they always will have a day in between for a break.

    Apart from that, those days would suit me well

    Seems like it's a matter of days before a tour announcement, I will start collecting some money

    I'm praying these dates are wrong, because its precisely in the middle of my only two weeks holiday abroad this year. Please let these be the wrong dates!

    By the way, when do you guys think an official announcement of tour-dates is likely?

    Matter of weeks now, for sure after the NLOTH official release, March will be the month. Could be early, or late March.
  6. I've heard rumor, that tour will be announced march 6th. So 9 days?
  7. The album reminds me of Zooroopa. Bring back some songs from it.

  8. I am seriously considering trying not to see the setlist before I go to whatever concert I go to.

    I couldn't resist with the leaked album but hopefully I will have better luck with the setlists!!

    I would love to go to a concert and have no idea what they are going to play!!

    Anyone else with me????

    I thought about it, but there's just no way. (unless you go to the 2nd show of the tour or something.) As someone in the US, it's completely unrealistic for me to try and do that and participate here.

    I think you might be right about the time they play in each continent, but it's a little too tight. More time between the legs, to rehearse new songs and rest a little. The tour's probably gonna end december 2010 in Australia or South America.
  11. Just thought I'd chime in here ...

    Correct. The Vertigo Tour was in fact the first tour on which U2 did not play 3 shows in 3 nights at all. It happened twice on Elevation's third leg (18-20 November 2001 and 30 December to 2 December), once on Popmart (5-7 February 1998), etc.

    So I do not think rumours of three shows in three nights are outside the realm of possibility. The band like to avoid it, but I think that if they need to do it, they will. Especially when it comes to Dublin and Amsterdam, U2 know they have a huge fanbase coming to see them there and I'm sure they want to play to as many people as possible. If the only way to fit three gigs into the schedule is to play three consecutive nights, I hope they are willing and capable of doing it.

    (Personally, though, I don't mind them spacing three shows over four days simply because I can use the gap day to do sightseeing!)
