1. Now I'm 25,

Why does hearing Bono sing this line make me laugh?!

And I see Winter didn't miss on the "ooooh"s either, it fits on NLOTH
  2. I don't like it... it sounds really like Coldplay... Thanks God, it is not on the album...
  3. I don't really like it. I am a (small) fan of CP as well but this is just not 'it'. Decent effort though
  4. For me Winter is better than White as Snow and Crazy Tonight
  5. Let me think...

Some very nice lyrics and melody, really nice song, but not ready to be on the album. Intro should be fixed also, it reminds of VLV, but the rest is U2 for sure. : )))

And that "opera" outro is glorious
  6. At 21,
    I was born a son,
And on that day I knew,
    I could kill.

    To protect the ones,
    Who put bullets in guns,
    Or anything it takes,
    To take a life.

I believe this is messed up, Bono would kill to protect killers?
  7. Weakest new U2 track for me. Non- essential. If they wanted to leave one track off then it was right to choose this one. If they had decided to keep in on the album it had been alright with me, too. Six U2 minutes more are always good.

The version I listen to right now is also heavily clipped. I supose the final version won't be clipped. Maybe the track will be more charming when it sounds better.

  8. Wish I could hear this song! Is it only available on the deluxe edition? I pre-ordered the album from itunes with 2 bonus tracks but I heard its NLOTH 2 and GYOB Punk Version

Bono once told that once his first child was born he could understand why people were fighting wars, I think and I believe this 'I could kill' is related to that feeling.
  10. Isnt this song about a soldier.
