Really good B SIDE! Definitely doesnt belong on the album... Great to hear more U2
If they'd included Winter instead of NLOTH2, the album would have been just under 60 minutes long, exactly.
This would have done much better (and sounded much more consistent) in place of any of the three 'up-tempo rock' tracks. Nice and long too with Eno's original demos of 'Tit For Tat' and 'Tutti Forgotti' reminiscent in some places, as well as Always Forever Now from Original Soundtracks.
This just sounds like something completely unfinished, untouched, raw and unpolished, exactly how the final record should have sounded.
Damn the tracks on the DVD must have been recorded loud, i wanted to record Winter on my iriver to then have with the rest of the album, with even at the lowest volume, it still came out a tad distorted....and i don;t have a dvd audio rip program...grrrrr!!!
