1. Safari doesn't crash for you yet or at all? They are great little devices.

How sweet it is I can download an album or rip a CD and have it on the iPod in a good few minutes, without having to use or buy another stack of CDs.

  2. I've never really had too much trouble unless there's a load of content (my bank site for example).
  3. Touch looks good Drew. What's this about memory leaks with Coverflow?

  4. It never seems to run out of space. At present, 6.21GB worth of audio and growing by the minute, but still 7.54GB worth of space left.

I had a starfish background before. The touch (1G) has 64MB RAM; if I went into coverflow with a modest 39 albums, the RAM went down in about two seconds to 14MB. That was running nothing else and with Winterboard switched off. That's the other reason I didn't like it.

The worst thing Apple have ever introduced to any mobile platform.
  5. anyone having problems with youtube recently?

it's always taken me quite a while to load a vid since a few months and today I couldn't reach the site at all. it's super annoying and I have no idea what the problem is is it the site being funky or my internet connection (arcor, dsl 6000 flat)?
  6. I know that iTunes took the digital licensing stuff off their audio files recently....does anyone know if they did the same with their video files?

I think so. If it has a + next to it, then it's free from restrictions.
  8. no school tomorrow....perfect opportunity to work on my ipod and stuff, any suggestions drew?

another question....cover flow is bad why?

Check out Cydia and get the theme Glaskart, as well as SBSettings, and make something with that.

Coverflow has a habit of using a lot of system memory and generally looks crap. It's been much better and more stable since I disabled it.
